SoulFire Ministries Bylaws

The first draft of the SoulFire Ministries Bylaws was completed on 03/25/2025. No revisions have been made at this time. 

This document is entirely comprised of the SoulFire Ministries Bylaws. Within these Bylaws are rules and regulations adopted by SoulFire Ministries, LLC and are to be followed at all times, no matter the circumstance or the nature of those circumstances. It is our belief that this collection of Bylaws ensure best practices within our ministry and how we handle matters.

Article 1 – (Name) The official name of the ministry shall SoulFire Ministries.

Article 2 – (Temporal nature) SoulFire Ministries is incorporated as a non-profit Limited Liability Company (LLC) and is recognized as a 501(C)(3) in the State of Virginia under the Internal Revenue Code (U.S.A.) or any prior or future revenue code (U.S.A).

Article 3 – (Governance) The current minutes of SoulFire Ministries are kept within the SoulFire Ministries archives and is also a section on the SoulFire Ministries website. These minutes contain the positions held by the ministry Board of Directors/Leadership, Mission Statement, Core Values, the person(s) able to sign legal documents on the behalf of SoulFire Ministries, polity statements, items discussed in meetings, rules of ministry order and discipline and these bylaws. 

Article 4 – (Mission Statement) “Igniting the F.I.R.E. of change throughout the Earth (Luke12:49).

Article 5 – (Core Values) (F) Follow God (John) 8:12), (I) Ignite Passion (Colossians 3:23), (R) Recruit People (Matthew 28:19) and (E) Educate Ministers.   

Article 6 – (Members) Those who take membership within SoulFire Ministries shall be composed of believers/Christians who have accepted the teachings, doctrines and government of SoulFire Ministries.

Article 7 – (Governing Bodies: The SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors) Members of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors are required to be Born Again, Spirit-filled and Baptized in order to hold office within the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors. Members and ministers of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors shall be at minimum 18 years of age or above. Members and ministers of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors shall have held membership for at least 6 months with SoulFire Ministries.

Article 8 – (Meeting of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors) Members of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors shall meet monthly or as needed to discuss appropriate and relevant ministry happenings. Meetings are called by Global Pastors, Joshua and Lauren Muncy, but other members of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors can also call meeting if the reason for the meeting is deemed appropriate by Global Pastors Joshua and Lauren Muncy.

Article 9 – (Authority) All decisions made within SoulFire Ministries will be made by the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors by the way of voting. In regard to the case that there is a tie, Global Pastors, Joshua and Lauren Muncy will make the final decision after a season of prayer and guidance the Holy Spirit.

Article 10 – (Board of Directors) Board of Directors’ members will be instated by the utilization of the following process:

  1. The board member making the recommendation for the person(s) to join the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors must present his or her case for the person(s) potentially joining.
  2. The SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors shall discuss if this person would be an appropriate fit for the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors (Including Opinions and objections).
  3. The SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors shall go into a season of prayer before making the decision (Length is deemed by God, first and foremost and then Global Pastors Joshua and Lauren Muncy).
  4. The SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors shall come together after each of them feel they have heard from God and vote.
  5. In the result of a tie, Global Pastors Joshua and Lauren Muncy shall have the final say.
  6. Once a member of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors is added to the Board, they shall hold office until they resign, get terminated or pass from this world to eternity.
  7. (Resignation) Resignation must be handled with a letter of resignation and a 30-day notice.
  8. (Termination) Termination must be decided by a majority vote and can happen for any legitimate reason deemed by the rest of the Board of Directors, with Global Pastors Joshua and Lauren Muncy having the final authority.
  9. (Passing Into Eternity) If a member of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors passed into eternity, the process for electing anew Board Member will be undergone again once a new candidate is brought forth by God.

Article 11 – (Members) All members of the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors must be an ordained minister as of March 25, 2027 to continue to serve on the Board of Directors.

Article 12 – The SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors shall consist of a secretary, treasurer as well as other offices that are deemed appropriate by the rest of the Board. 

Article 13 – There are to be no more than 10 Board members and no less than 5 Board members at a time.

Article 14 – (Duties and Responsibilities) Each Board member has the duty and responsibility to always Seek God first in each decision (Matthew 6:33), perform with due diligence, excellence, ethically, legally and represent SoulFire Ministries well at all times (1Corinthains 10:31).

Article 15 – (School of Ministry) SoulFire Ministries intends on having a school of ministry called “Ignite School of Ministries” to seek to accomplish the Core Value, “Educate Ministers”. There will be a total of three programs for participants to engage in: The Certificate Program, The Liscensure Program and the Ordination Program.

                Certificate Program – Ignite School of Ministries will have a certificate program for those who are interested in furthering their understanding of the Word of God. This program will last for 6 months. To receive the Certificate, the student must pass all of the required courses with a satisfactory score.  The application fee will be $15 USD.

                Liscensure Program – Ignite School of Ministries will have a Licensure Program designed to take students deeper in the knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. There will be an entrance exam to determine if the student is required to study the entire 3 terms or not. All students must participate in a 6-month practicum. Thos program will last 1 year. Details of this will be defined in the Ignite School of Ministries documents. The application fee will be $20 USD.

                Ordination Program – Ignite School of Ministries will have a Ordination Program designed to take students deeper in the knowledge and understanding of the Word of God on a much deeper than all of the other programs available. There will be an entrance exam to determine if the student is required to study the entire 6 terms or not. All students must participate in a 6-month practicum and a 1-year internship. Details of this will be defined in the Ignite School of Ministries documents. The application fee will be $30 USD. 

                Transfer from a Previous Program – In the case that a student finishes one of the lower level programs and wishes to continue their education under the Ignite School of Ministries, the time required to complete each of the programs will be reconsidered depending on the level of education and the score they receive on the entrance exam.

Article 16 – (Liscensure/Ordination Process) The Liscensure/Ordination process requires students to pay the application fee, take and pass all of the required courses, complete the required practicum/internship(s) and pass the exit exam with a satisfactory score in order to exit the Ignite School of Ministries with licensure or ordination.

Article 17 – (Responsibility to Teach the Truth) Each minister who is Licensed or Ordained to carry the Gospel under the heading of SoulFire Ministries must only share the teachings of SoulFire Ministries as inspired the Word of God. Failure to do so could result in disciplinary action and ultimately lead to the revocation of the License or Ordination.

Article 18 – The power to alter, amend or repeal any of the SoulFire Ministries Bylaws is given to the SoulFire Ministries Board of Directors. In order to make alterations, the majority must vote in the way of proceeding. In the event of a tie, Global Pastors Joshua and Lauren Muncy will go into a season of prayer. After they have heard from God, the final decision will be made and presented in the next Board meeting.  

Starting a Church Under SoulFire Ministries:

Article 19 - Engaging in a church startup must be initiated after gaining permission from the SoulFire Ministries Leadership Team and with Global Pastor's Josh and Lauren Muncy giving the final permissions. 

Article 20 - Each Church starting a campus of SoulFire Ministries is financially responsible for their campus with the corporate office in the United States of America (Virginia) sending funds occasionally to assist in costs.

Article 21 - Each campus is under the leadership of Global Pastor's Josh and Lauren Muncy with all other leaders of those campuses answering to them.
